Introduction

Welcome to my ‘Professional Development’ website.

I have two lives; one is based around Château Chavagnac (pictured above), the other is my professional life as a strategic and organisational consultant, facilitator and educator. With the retreats and courses we are now starting to run and host at Château Chavagnac, I am doing my best to bring the two together, hence the links between this site and our Château Chavagnac web site.

My organisational expertise concerns leadership, change, learning and development and I specialise in supporting the continuing professional development of other organisational practitioners. My strategic expertise is focused around the development of winning customer strategies.

As a consultant I help organisations bring about customer oriented change by working with senior teams to address strategic and organisational issues. I draw upon my skills and experience as consultant, change agent, facilitator and coach according to the particular needs and situations of my clients. I have worked for a wide variety of organisational clients in the commercial, education, government and voluntary sectors.

I am primarily using this web site to promote my professional services and share some of my ideas about organisation leadership, change, learning and development. I am passionate about keeping in touch with and creating thought leadership in these areas and specialise in making new theories, approaches and models (particularly from various branches of psychology) relevant and accessible to others working within organisations.

P.S. If this site seems a bit amateurish that's because I have created it myself using Dreamweaver on a Macintosh and there's still quite a lot I don't know how to do. For example, I am yet to learn how to create proper navigation bars with rollover effects, etc. Hopefully I will gradually learn how to do the more interesting things over time. If anyone knows a good tutor on this platform, please let me know.
